Why Pokémon Wind and Waves Should do Real-Time Battles Pokémon Wind and Waves got revealed on Pokémon's 30th anniversary and one of our biggest questions is: will Wind and Waves be turn-based or real-time battles? As much as I love the traditional Pokémon games, I want real-time battles like in Z-A! I do have reasons why we need real-time battles in Gen 10! Pokémon Z-A's battle style Was Great but Flawed Pokémon Z-A's battling felt great, but it got a little old by the end of ZA. One of the main reasons is that I was expecting a very immersive gameplay, so when I first pick up the game I was "oh I have to lock on to my opponent's Pokémon!" I thought you would have to aim shots more, but I mean like locking on to your opponent's Pokémon is fine the only thing is the dodging! The dodging was not as advance as I thought it would be.
