 Are Nintendo Directs Just Not the Way to Reveal game Anymore?    We have recently gotten a Nintendo Direct and that was... interesting. We did get a couple cool reveals like Ocarina of Time Remake, but there were also many games Nintendo fans will not care for. So, my big question is, are Nintendo social media posts the thing to look forward to now, not general Nintendo Directs?    About a month ago we got a surprise announcement of the new Starfox remake. This was a total surprise that nobody saw coming. They just randomly posted that we would have Starfox game and that was really cool. Since this was a surprise, nobody had the time to overhype themselves and be very disappointed.    If Nintendo gets rid of General Directs and just start giving us random reveals and surprise game devoted directs, it will give people less time to overhype themselves and get disappointed.  Fox Is Back!    After over a decade Fox McCloud gets a game! On May 6th of 2026 we got a surprise direct from Nintendo! I was bowling then all of a sudden, a notification from Nintendo Today saying, “Star Fox direct!” This is a remake from the Nintendo 64 version of Star Fox. The name of the new Fox game will be called Star Fox, which is very confusing between the first one and this one. To be fair though this game is a remake of the 64 version of Starfox and the 64 version is a reimagining of the original version. New and Improved Graphics!    Nintendo is testing the limits of the Switch 2 by the new and improved graphics of the new Starfox game! Fox and the gang get new realistic designs. These graphics look very clean and seem realistic. I thought it would kind of be anime like because in the Galaxy movie they introduced Fox through an anime cutscene.  Another Short Nintendo Film!    Nintendo is at it again with a mysterious short film! Do you remember that close to you video Nintendo put out in October last year? Well, if you don't Nintendo set out a short, animated film with a baby and a whole bunch of Pikman! This time Nintendo set out a short little film stop-motion film with Kirby stacking apples on his head! What Was the Short About?    This short was a short little stop-motion picture of Kirby. Right under the Whispy Woods tree Kirby was catching apples with his head! In the end he ate them. So, this short wasn't as long as the close to you short and more like the Juicer Pikman short! What Does This Mean?    When we got the Close to You short film, we got a Pikman 4 update. So, this time we'll we get a switch 2 update for Kirby's Dream Buffet. Why You Must Collect All 40 Mario Galaxy Cards    When we got the final trailer for the Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Nintendo Today got digital collectable cards! These digital cards are little collectable cards that have Mario characters/items! You can get these cards by logging into the Nintendo Today app daily. What makes these cards so special is that when you click onto them you can scroll down and see little videos about that item or character. These videos are short little videos that cover the debut of the item or character and other games that item or character have been in!
