Best Games to Play for Mar10 Day

   Happy Mar10 Day! March 10th is Mario Day and the best Games to play on Mario Day is of course Mario Games! If you are a Nintendo fan and you are not planning on playing Mario, what type of Nintendo fan are you?!? Probably a Pokémon fan I understand. Here’s 10 Mario Games to play for Mario Day!

3 New Nintendo Classics

   On Mar10 day we are getting Mario Tennis (1995), Mario Clash, and Mario VS Donkey Kong! These games are perfect for Mario day as long as you have Nintendo Online + Expansion Pack and the Nintendo Virtual Boy Remake. Which is pretty expensive to play just 2 games for Mario Day. Luckily Mario VS Donkey Kong (GBA) you only need Nintendo Online + Expansion pack to play this game!

   These games are perfect for Mar10 Day because it’s releases exactly on Mar 10 and they are classic Mario Games! Although being a DK fan it will be hard for me to beat DK.

Donkey Kong 1981

   Speaking of beating up Donkey Kong one of the best Games to play for Mario Day is the original Donkey Kong game, or is it the original Mario game? Tell me in the comments. Since Mario/Jumpman Made his debut in the original arcade Donkey Kong this would be one of the perfect games to play on Mario Day! An interesting game to play on Mario day would be Donkey Kong Jr. because Mario is the bad guy, but this probably won't be the best game to play for Mario day since Mario is the bad guy in this one. These games are available on the NSO NES. 

Mario Odyssey

   You may be wondering why is Mario odyssey on this list, I beat this game back in the old days 2018. Well replaying one of the best Mario games is a great idea, but you may be like why would I want to restart my save file in Mario odyssey? Well you don’t have to there are 5 save files in Mario odyssey!!! Not many people know that because it’s a setting feature, not a main menu feature!

Super Mario Galaxy 1&2

   The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is coming out very soon, so playing Mario Galaxy one or two are great games to Play for Mario Day! The biggest reason to play this game is so that if you have not played these games yet or finished it and do not want the games' ending to be spoiled you need to quickly finish this game. Also, there will probably be a lot of easter eggs from the Super Mario Galaxy 1&2 games! Although there may be even references that are not even from Mario because we got a reference from Balloon Fight from the NES in the first Mario Movie.

   One reason to not play the game is because you might spoil the ending of the Mario Galaxy movie, although the movie may have a different ending. Maybe the ending of the movie may have the ending of the first Galaxy game, but it may most likely have the ending of the second game because Yoshi will be in the Movie. One more reason why you shouldn’t play the game until after the movie is because the Galaxy amiibos for the switch remakes don’t come out until a day after the Mario Galaxy movie!?! Good going Nintendo. Still a huge fan though.

Super Mario Wonder

   You may be wondering why is Mario wonder on here, it’s because the super Mario Wonder DLC is coming soon for the switch 2, or that I didn’t have many ideas for what I should put on this list… it’s definitely the first one. It may be a good idea to play Mario wonder before the DLC comes out so you can warm up and practice a couple levels and slowly get back into the game after aa hiatus. It’s also a great idea to finish this game if you haven’t yet, so that you can get right into playing the Bellabell Park games!

Super Mario Party Jamboree!

   Don’t spend Mario Day alone, spend it with friends! Mario Doesn’t do his adventures alone usually he has Yoshi, his faithful brother Luigi, flowers (they are living things), even the Toads to help him on his adventure! This is why you should play Mario party Jamboree, or any Multiplayer Mario game, whether it be sports, a platformer, or a party game. Just spend it with a local or online friend! Although Mario Party Jamboree may be the best choice because it has its switch 2 DLC/update.

   Speaking of party games a good game for Mar10 day is a game where you can dish it  at the race track Mario Kart World! One reason why this is best game to play for Mario day is because Nintendo is holding a special event for Mario day! You will need a special code. This code can be found in the Nintendo website!

Super Mario Bros (1985)

   Last but not least the original Super Mario Bros is the best game you can play on Mar10 Day, and do I really have to explain why this is the best game to play for Mar10 Day. This is the most iconic Mario game there is. This is a game you MUST at least play once on Mario Day, and plus this game is super quick as long as you know all the shortcuts to get to 8-4.
