Surprise Nintendo Direct!

 Fox Is Back!

   After over a decade Fox McCloud gets a game! On May 6th of 2026 we got a surprise direct from Nintendo! I was bowling then all of a sudden, a notification from Nintendo Today saying, “Star Fox direct!” This is a remake from the Nintendo 64 version of Star Fox. The name of the new Fox game will be called Star Fox, which is very confusing between the first one and this one. To be fair though this game is a remake of the 64 version of Starfox and the 64 version is a reimagining of the original version.

New and Improved Graphics!

   Nintendo is testing the limits of the Switch 2 by the new and improved graphics of the new Starfox game! Fox and the gang get new realistic designs. These graphics look very clean and seem realistic. I thought it would kind of be anime like because in the Galaxy movie they introduced Fox through an anime cutscene. They also should that cutscene in the direct making it very convincing that the new game would be anime styled!

What's different than the 64ver

   This game is “based off” the 64 version of Starfox, but there are new cutscenes and game modes! These cutscenes seem very interesting because we were able to James McCloud in this direct, which makes me wonder will there be a playable storyline with James McCloud like Olimar in Pikman 4? This game also has full voice acting!

New Modes!

   You can now play Starfox in new and improved ways with these new modes! We will talk about each and every one of the new modes below!

Challenge Modes

   You can go back and replay stages you have already cleared, but with new objectives! You can choose easy mode or expert mode!

Battle Mode

   This is a 4v4 mode where you have to get the most points to win! In a way it is kind of like Splatoon. There are 3 different maps you can choose from all with their own mode! You can also choose if you would like to be on team Starfox or team Star Wolf! Be warned you can your enemies may attack!

   On planet Corneria its a king of the hill game where you are trying to obtain a satellite tower for a certain amount of time! On planet Fichina you must collect the most energy crystals while avoiding falling meteorites! In Sector Y you fight space pirates and retrieve cargo and safely bring it back to your homebase! So in a way it is like capture the flag but in space!

   You can play all these modes online with your friends or randomly match up with other player! You may also game share this game to three different switch consoles, including the original switch! You may also play the campaign mode locally with another player, where one player steers the ship, and the other one shoots! Just like the Disney Millenium Falcon ride, but for only 2 players!

Campaign Mode.

   In this mode you take on different challenges. Each challenge will impact the ending and next mission giving this game some replay ability! Please tell me what you thought of this direct! I will talk more about this on my podcast!

Popular Game Just Became One of Pokémon's Biggest Competitor!

No Man's Gets a New Update!    No Man's Sky got a new update, and this one is going to trouble Pokémon! In this new update we can now collect pets, as always, and battle with them! This new update was a delightful surprise since we just got the new Remnant update. Just to think we just got Pokémon Champions the same day as we got this update! For now, let's dive into more of the Xeno Arena Update! What Else is in This Update? Pet Battles    Of course, the huge attraction for this update, the creature battles. Mii Limit of Tomodachi Life is outrageous 70

    We just got confirmed that the Mii limit for Tomodachi Living the Dream is only 70 Miis per island and this is very disappointing. Also to have a baby in the game you need free Mii space, which only makes the limit more outrageous! This is a very big downgrade from the last game. To be honest the Mii limit ruins my excitement for the game. How to Fix This Limit    There are quite a couple ways Nintendo can fix this limit. I do believe in the future there will be updates to expand this limit because in Animal Crossing New Horizons we just go a new update after years of release and part of that update we got more storage room, so maybe we will get more Miis!
