Dark Donkey Kong Theory

 Dark Donkey Kong Bananza Theory!!!

One day I was playing Donkey Kong Bananza and I noticed that eels have triangles in their mouths. Why is this important? Because challenge rooms have triangle doors! So, my theory is that the challenge rooms are dead eels!

My Proof

During the post-game you can do the final rehearsal in the Great Harmoneel's stomach. You may have noticed that there is a triangle portal letting you into his stomach, same with all of the other eels. In the Great Harmoneel's stomach there is a full-on obstacle course in them! What do the Challenge Rooms take you? To an obstacle course!

So maybe when an eel dies it leaves its portal and transforms into multiple different Fractones; leaving no body. This would make sense why Fractones and eels get along so well. If you pay attention to the skin of an eel, it looks just like Fractonium! Thus, proving my theory even more!

Digging Deeper into This Theory

You may be wondering what about those warp gongs are those eels too? What I believe is, yes, they are deceased eels. The story behind that is eels use to live on the surface years ago. During those years humans hunted down these surface eels for their own selfish wants.

One day a noble few of Great Harmoneels sacrificed themselves by turning into warp gongs for the other eels to travel to the lower layers safe from humans. This would totally make sense because Lil' Eelevators can't travel that far by themselves. So maybe Eelevators can't really travel that far without warp gongs.

Wait what about Grumpy Kong, He made a warp gong?! A talent of Grump's is that he can create weird creatures. So, the warp gong he made at the end of Bananza was an artificial eel mouth! Tell me if you think this theory could be true in the Donkey Kong Lore.
